To view your allotment status:
- Visit josaa.nic.in.
- Select the ‘JoSAA 2025 seat allotment result’ link on the homepage.
- Enter your JEE Main application number and password.
- Submit the details and view your seat allotment result.
- Download and print the result for future reference.
Important Dates & Next Steps
- Reporting and Fee Payment:
July 16 – July 20, 2025
Candidates must report to their allotted colleges, submit required documents, and pay the seat acceptance fee before the deadline to confirm their admission. - Last Date for Fee Payment:
July 20, 2025 - Resolution of Payment Issues/Queries:
Final date to resolve fee payment problems or respond to queries is July 21, 2025. - NIT+ System Withdrawals:
Withdrawal of seat is available from July 16 to July 21, 2025. - Partial Admission Fee (PAF):
For NIT+ system institutes, partial admission fee payment window is open from July 23 to July 27, 2025. Any PAF payment issues must be resolved by July 28, 2025.
Choices for Allotted Candidates
After seat allocation, candidates can choose from three options:
- Freeze: Accept the allotted seat.
- Float: Wait for a better option in subsequent NIT+ system processes.
- Slide: Opt for upgradation in the same institute and course group (where applicable).
Additional Information
- This was the final round for seat allocation in IITs; for NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, further processes like CSAB special rounds may take place depending on vacancies.
- The seat acceptance fee must be paid on time, otherwise, the allotted seat will be forfeited.
