New Delhi, June 24 — Smartphone brand Poco has officially confirmed the launch of its much-anticipated F-series flagship, the Poco F7, in India on June 24. Ahead of the official release, the company has revealed key specifications and features, placing the device as a high-performance contender in the sub-₹35,000 price segment.
Snapdragon 8s Gen 4-Powered Performance
At the heart of the Poco F7 lies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a newly launched processor built for delivering flagship-grade performance at a more affordable price. The phone will feature 12GB LPDDR5x RAM, with up to 24GB Turbo RAM, promising smooth multitasking and gaming. Storage will be handled by UFS 4.1, typically found in premium-tier devices.
Design, Display, and Durability
The Poco F7 is expected to sport a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising a high-end visual experience. The panel may reach up to 3200 nits peak brightness and is expected to include an IP68 rating, making it water and dust resistant — a rare feature in its price segment.
Battery, Cooling, and Charging
One of the key highlights of the Poco F7 is its massive 7550mAh battery, supported by 90W fast charging. To ensure thermal efficiency during prolonged usage or gaming sessions, Poco is equipping the F7 with a 6000mm² vapour chamber cooling system.
Camera Setup
The phone will house a dual-camera setup featuring a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Selfie camera details are yet to be confirmed, but software enhancements are expected under HyperOS 2, Xiaomi’s Android 15-based custom UI.
Poco F7 Price and Market Positioning
According to official teasers, the Poco F7 will be priced below ₹35,000, placing it directly in competition with mid-range performance phones like the Realme GT series and the upcoming Nothing Phone 3, which is also expected to run on the same Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip but at a higher price point.
